Koalas dwell primarily in the eucalyptus woodlands of eastern Australia, thriving in a climate that remains relatively mild. These adorable marsupials devote much of their life resting in the canopy, eating almost exclusively eucalyptus greens, which are poor in nutrients and demand a significant amount of energy to break down.
